The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering, established in 2022, offers a contemporary curriculum that integrates theoretical AI and data science principles with practical applications. Starting with an initial intake of 38 students, the department has rapidly expanded to accommodate 171 students, reflecting the growing interest in this field. The department provides industry-relevant skills in data analysis, machine learning, and AI, with practical experience through modern labs and simulations. The department is supported by highly qualified faculty members, comprising experienced professionals, including doctorates and industry experts from diverse domains, who foster an innovative learning environment that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving, preparing graduates to lead in AI and data-driven industries.
Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline and it is the mother branch of engineering that deals with planning, design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as buildings, roads, dams, runway, harbour, towers, bridges etc. Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it was defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering. The department provides a teaching learning environment through which students learn the art of development and sustainability.
It is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including Surveying, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mining Engineering and Coastal Engineering.
