Save Earth Save Your Life

Inter collegiate oratorical contest was held on the 14th of August 2009 under the auspices of the department of English. The Principal, Prof. Dr. M.Murali Krishna, welcomed the gathering and the chairman, Alhaj. Dr. S.M.Shaik Nurddin, Secretary, S.Segu Jamaludeen, presided over the oratorical contest and Thirty Seven students from different Engineering Colleges in the state participated and spoke on "SAVE EARTH SAVE YOUR LIFE".

The First prize Rs. 5,000/- was won by a student from RMK Engineering College, the Second prize Rs. 3,000/- also had gone to the same college. Prof. A. Kader Basheer former principal of New College gave away the prizes and the Secretary S.Segu Jamaludeen prized over the function. Dr. T.M.J.Indramohan, Dean, Academia proposed the vote of thanks.
